Slicer function in excel

In later versions is an important function to filter, arrange, present and analyze data in many ways at the click of a button. In the short video tutorial, you will learn how to insert slicer in your excel sheet and also how to use it to your advantage in preparing dashboards, charts, data filtering etc.

In order to apply slicer function in excel, you will first format your data as TABLE. Select your data and go to Home Tab, click on “Format as Table“. Once your data is formatted, you can insert the slicer by going to the “Insert Tab” and then click on Slicer to select it.
